Hubble are a reputable, long established independent kitchen and interiors company, with showrooms in Chichester & Guildford. Covering London and the South, Hubble supply some of the best German kitchens and Italian furniture in the industry, such as Leicht & Novamobili.
We are looking to expand our small but experienced design team for both showrooms, seeking a creative individual looking to develop a long-term career with an innovative and reputable company.
Job brief
Reporting into Senior designers, this role will enable a budding designer to develop their skills, working with high end products and the latest software to design kitchens and interiors tailor made to clients’ briefs.
The candidate will assist senior designers with initial drawing packages, meet and greet customers into the showroom and assist with project admin. The scope of the role will include the opportunity to learn every aspect of the process from initial design to installation, including project management, site surveys and order purchasing.
This role requires someone who is passionate about design, has a desire to work with high end and innovative products and a strong attention to detail.
The design industry is ever evolving, so maintaining up to date product knowledge and on-going training is encouraged.

Responsibilities include;
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Listening, discussing and interpreting customers’ requirements, style & budget
- Creating innovative and tailor-made designs for customers, using the CAD planning software to produce detail design schemes and quotations (full training will be provided)
- Supporting the project administration & maintaining project schedules
- Developing product knowledge and keeping up to date with new products materials, including keeping the showroom up to date with the most current samples & literature
- Accompany senior designs on site visits prior & during an installation to ensure correct interpretation of designs & measurements.
Requirements
- Has a passion for the design & interiors industry
- Confident in communicating with hand drawing / sketches
- Strong attention to technical detail
- Competent with MS Suite & Adobe packages
- Full, clean, driver’s licence required and own transport.
- Desire to learn & take creative direction
- Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues
