We designed a quirky contemporary kitchen to complement our client’s beautiful cottage on the outskirts of Chichester.

This stylish all-white kitchen from Leicht’s Solid Door range creates a stunning contrast against the textural exposed brick wall.

The pristine matt white surfaces reflect light throughout the room, establishing a bright, spacious feel. The matt white finish also allows us to build the tall units right up to seamlessly meet the sloping ceiling, maximising every inch of available storage space.

Making the most of all the available space is a must in this compact Chichester kitchen. As well as installing a neat sliding towel rail and pull-out slim larder unit, we introduced a practical and elegant peninsula. Lining up beautifully with the fantastic porthole window, the peninsula provides plenty of extra storage and worktop space. It also helps establish a boundary between the kitchen and dining area.

One of our favourite features is the clever timber planter-cum-cupboard. This brilliant addition makes the perfect place to store glasses since it is easily accessible from the dining area while offering an element of privacy, whether dining or cooking. The natural wood finish brings a cohesive feel to the interior, tying in beautifully with the real timber veneer shelving and Leicht’s gorgeous, oiled wood edge detailing.

Though incorporating plenty of storage was essential, striking the right balance between practicality and aesthetics is equally important. Opting for sleek wood shelves with integrated lighting rather than overhead units helps ensure the room feels bright, airy, and inviting. The delightfully curated shelving display also brings a wonderful sense of character to our client’s quirky space. This charming yet undeniably modern kitchen complements our client’s eclectic home perfectly.

  After obtaining quotes from various large retailers, kitchen designers and carpenters we decided on a German kitchen and contacted Hubble as a local company to us. We had some ideas about the design of our kitchen and Tyler from Hubble was the only designer we saw didn’t “go along” entirely with our thoughts.  His approach demonstrated his skill, expertise and understanding in what would work in our tricky, long kitchen space.  We were impressed with the consultation and design process, iterating until it was perfect.  The showrooms are fantastic examples of the quality and finish.   Hubble designed a lovely, modern kitchen which has been admired by many visitors.  They helped me keep to my tight budget by suggesting a melamine door, which looks and feels stunning,  while having a painted island in a different colour to add contracts and interest.  I had chosen an Adobe boiling water tap on price, which was a big mistake as it was useless, but Hubble arrange to have it replaced with a Quooker while I just paid the difference in the new price.  Great service and a friendly bunch of people.
