This extraordinary and eclectic West Wittering kitchen captures our client’s personality, showcasing their intriguing ornaments and providing a stunning backdrop to daily life.

Leicht’s sleek handleless cabinetry in Camata and Alpine Oak makes a bold design statement. The warm, textural wood and patinated metal surfaces soften the crisp white architectural setting, bringing a powerful charismatic edge to the space. Reminiscent of an Anthony Caro sculpture, a striking yellow beam cuts through the room, providing a beautiful contrast against the organic oxidised steel and wood finishes. The matching yellow pendant lights above the island add to the effect. This unique design detail introduces a stylish industrial quality to the interior.

Featuring a spacious kitchen island, a state-of-the-art BORA Pure hob, durable Dekton surfaces, and Siemens ovens, the main area is ideal for cooking and socialising. The island helps create an efficient workflow while providing a lovely spot for family and friends to sit and chat while our client prepares food. The bespoke planter also makes a clever and attractive addition. As well as creating a lovely display of foliage, it helps hide any cooking paraphernalia from the view of the dining area — perfect when hosting or relaxing with a glass of wine.

We built an additional bank of cabinetry and a small counter space on the other side of the room. The separate counter area makes a great drinks station, coming in particularly handy when the kitchen is in use. The tall pantry cupboards also provide valuable extra storage while helping bring a sense of balance and symmetry to the overall design.

Leicht’s elegant, illuminated oak shelves offer plenty of room for our client to display their eclectic collection of ornaments and artworks. Their beautifully curated shelving displays add fantastic character and charm to the contemporary space. Clean handleless cabinetry, exquisite surface finishes, and an eye-catching architectural feature set this stunning West Wittering kitchen apart. Our clients couldn’t have been happier with the finished design.
