When you invest in a new kitchen, it’s natural to feel a mix of excitement and nerves. You’ve chosen the design, selected the finishes, and can already picture how it will transform your home.  But what is often unknown for many homeowners is what actually happens during the fitting process and how long it takes.

Naturally, larger layouts, bespoke elements and on-site building works can all add time to the process, but sometimes, with the right design, planning, and finishes, the process can be surprisingly fast – even just one day!

This was just the case for our recent display at our Chichester showroom.  We understand that not everyone has large open spaces to work with or a longer timeline available, so with that in mind, we designed this kitchen with a smaller footprint, a streamlined layout and finishes that were not only stylish, but durable and straightforward to work with.  Combined with expert preparation and our team’s design and installation experience, it meant that the entire installation was completed within a single day.

How we designed and planned this installation for a quick turnaround.

Fast doesn’t have to mean rushed. With the right team, the right products, and a proven process, you can achieve a high-quality kitchen installation in less time than you think.

Delivery

We carefully plan and manage deliveries to ensure that every element is on site from day one. While this is standard practice for any of our projects, it becomes especially important when aiming for a streamlined installation, as it avoids any delays caused by missing or late items.

Layout

With a compact layout, the carcasses for both base and tall units can be positioned quickly and accurately.  Our designers provide detailed plans so that the fitting team know exactly where each element belongs, allowing the installation to move smoothly from the outset.

Worktop

Worktop choice can also have a significant impact on installation time. For this display, we selected a sleek, laminate material for both the worktop and backsplash, supplied directly by Leicht. Because it was pre-cut to size, with sink and hob cut-outs completed in the factory, the worktop could be fitted on the same day as the units. This eliminated the need for templating, production, and separate installation visits that are required with stone surfaces.

Lighting

Integrated lighting was designed directly into the cabinetry and shelving, reducing the need for additional carpentry on site. By planning these details in advance, the lighting arrived ready to be installed alongside the units, allowing the fitter and electrician to complete their work efficiently without added disruption.

What this means for you

For homeowners, this can be a reassuring reminder that kitchen installation doesn’t have to mean weeks of upheaval.  For developers and builders, this kind of quick turnaround demonstrates what’s possible when planning and execution come together.

  • Expert Planning: Every detail is mapped out before fitting begins.
  • Efficient Installation: Our experienced fitters work to a precise schedule.
  • High-Quality Finishes: Carefully chosen materials that are durable, beautiful, and practical to fit.

Whether you’re a homeowner looking for a smooth, stress-free kitchen transformation, or a developer needing kitchens fitted quickly across multiple properties, our approach ensures a balance of speed, quality, and design integrity.
