With the start of the New Year, we take a look at some of the key trends within the kitchen industry.

Power Palettes

The colour of your kitchen no longer has to be plain, neutral or wooden.  We look into 2 of the main colour trends for 2020; Black and Green.

Black

Creating an atmospheric, chic look, a black coloured kitchen works best when used with a mix of materials.  Natural wood tones and solid stone worktops adds much needed contrast and depth.  Take it one step further by adding gold details, with door handles and taps, to add a touch of luxury.

Green

Dark tones of Green in the kitchen is not something new for 2020, however various tones achieve different styles.  Stick with the darker hues and mix with gold or brass details to create a more sophisticated, country look.  Looking for something a bit brighter?  This seasons shade of pale mint green will keep your kitchen space fresh and light.

If you’re thinking green is bit too bold for your kitchen cabinets, refresh your walls instead to subtly add that greenery into your kitchen.

Zone Out

Ideal for open-plan living, design details such as framing a built-in kitchen area and hide-away doors, are perfect for keeping multi-use spaces looking clean and minimal.

Specifically from Leicht, these sliding doors hide away an entire kitchen, complete with sink, hob and oven.

Industrial Metallics

An alternative to the raw, reclaimed oak, farmhouse style, distressed metal brings an understated glamour to a scheme.

If distressed cabinets are too much for you, vintage accessories or a time-worn worktop will create a distressed vibe for your kitchen space.

We work with Ceasarstone and Cosentino brands to add that industrial feel to a kitchen worktop.
