AGAs are synonymous with traditional, English country kitchens, but we had the pleasure of designing and installing a beautiful Leicht kitchen for a contemporary family home in Surrey.

The finished result is a leading example of how modern and traditional elements can work together in perfect harmony.

Our customer had selected the ‘Pistachio’ AGA, and we positioned this as the focal point to which our design was built around. ‘Concrete Taupe’ by Neolith was used for the worksurface and also formed a full height backsplash wall behind the AGA.

To compliment the texture of the Concrete Taupe, the kitchen units needed to appear soft and understated so they didn’t clash. We used a combination of carbon greys and white for the handleless kitchen units which were smooth painted matt lacquer.

Neolith large format tiles were also laid for flooring throughout the kitchen continuing into the large dining and living space.
